Regarding the test scheduled for Tuesday, 2/19:

Instead of covering the digestive, nervous & reproductive systems, the test will now ONLY cover the Digestive and Nervous Systems.

“A Round-Table Discussion”

At the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year, Dr. David Copeland, Superintendent of Madison County Schools, held a series of community engagement meetings to meet the stakeholders and to solicit input from the community on moving Madison County Schools forward.  The second meeting in this set is scheduled for:

New Unit & Homework

Our new unit will cover the digestive, nervous & reproductive systems.  The test is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, February 19th.


For tonight, students received a diagram of the digestive system to label.  They were also asked to list the functions of the ten structures that were labeled.

On Wednesday, 1/30, there will be a Homework Grade Quiz over labeling the heart. 

Students will need to be able to label:

Right atrium
Right ventricle
Superior Vena Cava
Inferior Vena Cava
Pulmonary Artery
Left atrium
Left ventricle
Aorta
Myocardium

The test over the circulatory and respiratory systems is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, February 5th.

The first Human Body Systems Test is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, January 22nd and will include the skeletal and muscular systems.
