On Monday, 3/3, Students created their own neuron models using a variety of household supplies: Play-Doh, straws, pipe cleaners, toothpicks, beads, and yarn. Students labeled the major parts of the neuron and traced the direction of the impulse.

Our current unit will be the last of the Human Body Systems. This unit includes the digestive, nervous, and reproductive systems.
The unit test is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, March 13th.

Ch. 23 Section 1 Quiz Corrections
Today, students were given back graded Ch. 23 Section 1 Quizzes from Friday.
Students who scored 60 or above:
Students who scored below 60:
Students who scored 60 or above:
- make corrections for future review
- tape into notebook
- will keep current grade
Students who scored below 60:
- on front: make corrections
- on back: rewrite question as a true statement using the correct answer
- include a texbook page number
- Turn in tomorrow for regrade
- students will receive half credit for each corrected question up to a 60.
